Greenwood Great House

What to bring:

This eighteenth century great house was once home to the legendary Annie Palmer, also known as the White Witch of Rose Hall. Legend has it that Annie, Rose Hall's Mistress, was an accomplished practitioner of Haitian Voodoo who murdered her three husbands and countless slave lovers during her reign at Rose Hall. This guided tour takes you around the Georgian mansion where you are able to experience the exquisite architecture which is a celebration of Jamaica’s heritage and culture. Knowledgeable tour guides, dressed in traditional Jamaican folk attire, will share the history of the property including all of Annie's alleged dastardly deeds. While you’re there be sure to take a drink of the Witches Brew recommended to steady your nerves!

National Museum West

What to bring:

Get a real culture fix visiting the National Museum West. Located on the historic Sam Sharpe Square, the Museum houses over 17,000 artefacts from Pre-Columbian period to present day which highlight the rich history of Jamaica.  The Museum also features a collection highlighting Rastafarianism, a religion indigenous to Jamaica. The exhibition features their history, philosophy, roots, culture and items used in their ceremonies including the Nyamibingi drums, creeds and percussion instruments and many other fascinating objects waiting to be seen. It also features popular icons of the religion such as His Imperial Majesty (HIM) Hailie Selassie and the world renowned Bob Marley and Marcus Garvey.

Doctor's Cave Beach & The Sand Bar

Spend the afternoon at one of Jamaica’s most stunning powdery white sand beaches, famous for its health and curative powers. Enjoy the crystal clear blue waters, bask in the sun or relax beneath the shade of an umbrella, with cool winds and island music to welcome you to paradise. Wrap up this amazing day with a delicious beach side lunch at the Sand Bar (included) and some well-deserved downtime before time’s up and you have to head back to your bus. You will have access to fresh water showers with changing/restroom facilities. The whole family can have fun by snorkeling in the inviting Caribbean waters. Snorkel, scuba gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and lilos are available for rent at the beach.

Unwind, chill, and just be happy at the beachside Sands Bar at Doctor’s Cave Bathing Club and enjoy a delicious meal complimentary along with the vibrant, energetic and entertaining team of bartenders, chefs and servers. The Sands Bar food and drinks take the style of our Jamaican national bird – the Humming bird which speaks to their fast efficient service.

 
A fixed meal will be served for lunch. You will have 2 options to choose from, with no optional menu selection. You will need to present your meal voucher, included in your guidebook, to receive your Jamaica Pass lunch special. One meal per JP Card holder.
